We are currently looking for a full time, detail-oriented Controller to lead our finance team. You will report directly to the CEO and be given the opportunity to grow into the CFO position. Cryptic is a fast-paced, results-oriented and entrepreneurial environment. Your primary responsibility will be to create and execute a finance management plan based on the management team's long-range goals. You must be highly analytical and a spreadsheet expert. You will collect, analyze and report to executive management complete information regarding the financial condition of the company, as well as working closely with our online operations group to analyze customer metrics. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about state and federal tax laws as well as US GAAP.

Every day you could be:

Overseeing accounting and finance.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Generating financial reports for the Board of Directors.
Maintaining treasury responsibilities, including cash management.
Maintaining stock plan administration.
What you need to work here:

CPA and/or MBA. Some public accounting experience is required.
Short and long term budgeting and forecasting experience.
Must be hands on, especially with financial modeling.
Working knowledge of project-based accounting.
Previous controller experience.
Knowledge of state and federal tax law.
U.S. and international GAAP experience.
Detailed-oriented analytical ability to create flexible models for multiple scenario analysis.
Ability to manage tasks and careers for a small finance team.
Ability to work with minimal hands-on supervision.
What we'd like to see:

Be a gamer.
Subscription services and/or recurring revenue experience.
Experience building an accounting and finance organization
