Position Overview:
This position reports to the Sr. Finance manager. The Financial Analyst will spend 60% of their time supporting the Finance function and 40% on Analytics. The importance of the finance and analytics functions of Syndero is high, both of whom help provide insight into company performance as well as offer up recommendations to strategic business decisions.

Responsibilties:
• Weekly preparation of Daily Sales Report and fielding questions from senior management
• Support monthly preparation of Board Package and analysis for board meetings
• Contribute to monthly contribution margin variance analyses – actual vs forecast/plan
• Assist in annual Operating Plan process
• Re-forecasting the business throughout the year as needed
• Product analysis and profitability analysis
• Support of the Product Marketing contribution margin model
• Ad-hoc analyses to help explain what is going on with the business and give recommendations to senior management
• Working closely with accounting group to assist in closing the books
• Maintain and update company financial model

Skills & Requirements:
• 2-4 years experience providing financial analysis support to operational functions within a fast-paced company environment or other equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills with ability to build complex excel-based models to evaluate financial scenarios and operating metrics
• Past involvement with budgets and forecasts a PLUS
• Ability to summarize information and succinctly communicate analyses verbally and in writing
• BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics or Engineering
