She holds Certified Public Accountant Licenses in both the United States and Taiwan, and is a U.S. Enrolled Agent. Her education includes a Master of Sciences in Taxation degree from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. May Ho is specialized in international taxation, especially in Taxation of U.S., China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. She is the author of two books: "Green Cards and Taxes: Tax Planning for Immigration and Foreign Investments in the United States." And "Love and Money: The Tao of Family Finance and Tax Planning" She has also written several academic research papers, including Hong Kong 1997 -- China, Tax Policy, and International Investments, The Application of International Income Tax Treaties between China and Other Countries to Hong Kong after 1997, and The Income Tax Cost of a One-Million-Dollar Visa. The latter two were both presented in the Asia-Pacific International Accounting Conference in Taipei in 1995 and Seoul, Korea in 1996, respectively, being one of the few works by a non-professor chosen. May currently resides in San Francisco, California with her husband and four children. She is a writer of many newspaper articles and frequent speaker in many TV, radio news interviews and seminars.
