We are going to have a special career development workshop: Meeting with Dr. Liu Shengjiang. Please mark your calendar in the coming Saturday if you are interested in the following contents (not limited):

Below is about Dr. Liu Shengjiang’s background:

1 Currently the Head and Sr. Principle Scientist, Pathogen Safety Department, Bayer Healthcare Corporation.

2 Founded Abmaxis Inc. with his partners in 2000 and served as the President and Acting CEO, the board director of the company. In 2006, Merck acquired 100 percent of the equity of Abmaxis for $80 million in cash.

3 A scientist and the group leader in the Department of Cell Culture and Fermentation, Genentech Inc. (1996-2000).

4 Received his post-doctor training in Nobel Prize Laureate Arthur Kornberg's laboraotory, Stanford University (1993-1996)

5 Received his Ph.D in Biochemistry, Kansas State University in 1993 and MS. Degree in Virology and Immunology from School of Vet.Med., Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China, 1985
