CBC communication 02/19/08: call for new members

Dear friends,
Chinese Biomedicine Club (CBC) at UCSF was founded in January. CBC is dedicated in actively promoting better connection, communication and interaction among members of the Chinese biomedical professionals in UCSF and other Bay Area institutions. The primary and foremost function of CBC is to serve as a platform for close social and professional interactions among members of UCSF Chinese community. We would like you to be part of our circle, to be better connected and better informed. Networking is key to a successful professional career.
Currently CBC has over ten active members. The planned activities of CBC in the near future include meeting with leaders and professionals in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, and other social events like hiking, picnics, and banquets. Currently, Dr. Duan Xu (duan@mrsc.ucsf.edu), Dr. Xiaodong Zhu (xiaodong.zhu@ucsf.edu) and Dr. Zhiyong Yang (zhiyong.yang@ucsf.edu) serve as the moderators of CBC. To register to be a member of CBC, please email your phone number (preferably including your cell phone number). The CBC has a $10 membership fee to defray some event costs.
